Design & Installation for Sunsails Shades

Budget Estimate for our Shades

For a fast budget estimate on our Sunsails shades, we welcome our customers to email us two or three photographs of the area to be considered and some basic measurements of the existing building/structure. Please include a brief outlining your requirements as well as your street address for purposes of establishing sun angles. Sunsails never shares any personal information with third parties. If you have any queries as to the suitability of shade sails for your project we can assess this in the same way.

Design and Quotation of Shades

Sunsails provides a complete design and installation service for our Shades, covering areas in and around Cape Town and the Western Cape. A consultant will visit your house or premises to discuss your shade requirements, and take measurements from which a quote can be produced and forwarded to you, usually via email.



There is a design step involved in the process of creating a shade sail structure and your consultant will produce workable design options for you. 3D design is the ideal visual presentation method since shade sail shapes and twists can be difficult to visualize, and can thus be illustrated in context of their surroundings, and to scale. Shadow prediction software is used to position the sails effectively according to the customer's brief.

Quote visits and 3D design drawings are free of charge in the greater Cape Town area, where the installation is to be carried out by Sunsails.

Sunsails Shades Installation

Upon acceptance of the quotation you will be contacted to arrange the installation. This is usually carried out in two visits. At the first visit sail attachment points and poles will be installed, and final measurements taken. The sails are then manufactured to these sizes at our Montague Gardens premises and fitted and tensioned at the second visit (usually within 10 working days counting from the first installation visit).
